Overview
The 30th annual ACM conference on Innovation and Technology in Computer Science Education (ITiCSE) will be held from June 30 to July 2, 2025, at Radboud University in the Netherlands. Sponsored by ACM Special Interest Group on Computing Education (SIGCSE), in collaboration with ACM Europe Council and Informatics Europe, the conference focuses on research and innovation in computer science education.
ITiCSE 2025: Call for Papers
This page provides detailed information about paper submissions to the ITiCSE 2025 conference. The abstract submission is mandatory for all papers and is due a week before the deadline for full papers.
Paper Tracks
Papers presented at ITiCSE address aspects of computing education. When making a submission, you will be asked to place it in one of three tracks:
- Computing education research: Papers that define research questions, describe data gathering and methods, present results, and discuss contributions to knowledge about teaching and learning computing.
- Experience reports and tools: Papers describing computing education experiences, including developed tools, with sufficient detail for adoption. These papers should highlight novelty and include a rich description of what worked and what didn't.
- Position papers and proposals: Papers articulating original and well-argued positions on computing education, or proposals for work in its early stages. These must offer value to the community.
All papers should explicitly state motivating questions, relate to relevant literature, and include an analysis of the intervention's effectiveness.
Submission Process
- Abstract Submission: Up to 250 words, plain text. Submit by the paper abstract deadline.
- Anonymous Version for Review: Submissions must be fully anonymous, removing all author names, affiliations, and identifying information. Self-citations should be worded to maintain anonymity. Links to additional material are not permitted in the review version.
- Formatting: The paper is limited to a maximum of six pages plus one page for references. Figures and tables must be readable in greyscale at 100% magnification. Ensure files are no more than 10MB.
- Submission: Convert the anonymous paper to Adobe PDF format, ensuring no identifying information is in the PDF properties. Upload the file through the online submission system.
Important Dates
- Mandatory abstract submission: Sunday, January 12, 2025
