CISIS 2025: Call for Papers

The 18th International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Security for Information Systems (CISIS 2025) will take place in Salamanca, Spain, on October 16-17, 2025, as part of the International Joint Conferences HAIS-SOCO-CISIS-ICEUTE & STARTUP OLÉ.

CISIS aims to offer a meeting opportunity for academic and industry-related researchers belonging to the various, vast communities of Computational Intelligence, Information Security, Cybersecurity and Data Mining. The need for intelligent, flexible behaviour by large, complex systems, especially in mission-critical domains, is intended to be the catalyst and the aggregation stimulus for the overall event.

Collocated Events

CISIS 2025 is held in conjunction with:

  • 20th International Conference on Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems (HAIS 2025)
  • 20th International Conference on Soft Computing Models in Industrial and Environmental Applications (SOCO 2025)

  • Name of chair/co-chairs, email/s and affiliation/s
  • One or two paragraphs describing the content of the session
  • List of at least 10 international reviewers (including the chairs) from at least three different universities (name, family name, email, affiliation).

Organisers of Special Sessions are responsible for:

  • Select a topic of interest to conference delegates.
  • Obtain papers on this topic, normally a minimum of 5 for an invited special session but often more. At least 60% of the papers must be by authors who are neither session chairs, from their team, nor reviewers for the session.
  • Manage the review process for these papers on due time and deadlines.
  • Provide suitable reviewers for the reviews of the papers.
  • Ensure the final versions of the papers are uploaded before the deadline.
  • Attend the conference and chair the session.
  • Disseminate widely a call for papers for the special session.

Special sessions submission deadline: 15th March 2025

Proceedings

SOCO’25, CISIS’25, and ICEUTE’25 proceedings will be published by Springer in a special volume of Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS). Indexed by SCOPUS, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH, SCImago.

Papers must be prepared according to the LNNS style template and must be no more than ten (10) pages long, including figures and bibliography. Additional pages (over 10 pages) will be charged 150 euros for each page.
