International Conference on Geometric Modeling and Processing (GMP 2025): Call for Papers

The International Conference on Geometric Modeling and Processing (GMP 2025) will be held in-person at Washington University in St. Louis, USA, from May 28-30, 2025.

GMP is an annual international conference series on geometric modeling, simulation, and computing. The conference provides a forum for exchanging new ideas, discussing new applications, and presenting new solutions in areas fundamental to many computer applications.

Topics of Interest

The organizers invite submissions of full-length papers on topics including, but not limited to:

  • Computational design, manufacturing and 3D printing
  • Computational geometry and topology
  • Discrete differential geometry
  • Geometric content generation
  • Geometric feature modeling and recognition
  • Geometric learning/data-driven approaches
  • Isogeometric analysis
  • Image based modeling
  • Material modeling
  • Mathematical foundations of computer aided geometric design
  • Multi-resolution and heterogeneous modeling
  • Shape and solid representation
  • Shape optimization

Important Dates

Paper Submission

  • The official language of the conference is English, and manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Submitted papers should present previously unpublished, original results that are not simultaneously submitted elsewhere.
  • All papers will be rigorously peer-reviewed by members of the international program committee of GMP.
  • The review process will be double-blind.
  • Please use the provided LaTeX template for your submission. The expected length is 10 to 15 pages.

Publications

The conference proceedings will be published in a special issue of Computer-Aided Geometric Design (CAGD, Elsevier).

Papers will undergo a two-stage review process to meet the high standards of the journal. Authors of papers acceptable with minor revisions will be invited for a second review cycle. Submissions with strong potential but requiring major revisions will be recommended for a fast-track submission process to Computer-Aided Geometric Design with optional reviewer continuity.
