Overview

MobiCom 2025, the 31st Annual International Conference on Mobile Computing and Networking, will be held in Hong Kong, China, from November 4-8, 2025. Sponsored by ACM SIGMOBILE, it is a premier international forum for research in mobile computing and wireless networking, featuring a main conference program, workshops, research demonstrations, and a poster session.

Call for Papers: MobiCom 2025

The ACM MobiCom conference seeks papers describing significant research contributions in the field of wireless networking and mobile computing. MobiCom solicits papers that address important research challenges and build practical working systems.

Submission Categories

  • Regular Papers: Focus on novel ideas, rigorous analysis, system design, real-world measurements, or deployments. Emphasizes intellectual merit and novelty.
  • Challenge, Experience, and Verification Papers: Full papers providing detailed technical insights from real-world deployments, especially in settings difficult to duplicate.

Review Process

  • Double-blind reviewing: Authors' identities are withheld from reviewers.
  • One-shot revision: Papers may require revisions to address reviewer feedback.
  • Early notifications: For papers rejected in round 1.
  • Shepherding: Conditionally accepted papers undergo a rigorous shepherding process.
  • Artifact Evaluation: Voluntary process to assess supporting materials for accepted papers.

Submission Instructions

  • All submissions are handled electronically at the MobiCom 2025 paper submission website.
  • Prepare a PDF version of your full paper.
  • Experience submissions should prefix ‘Experience Paper:’ to their title.
  • Formatting Requirements:
    • No more than twelve (12) single-spaced pages (excluding bibliography).
    • Font size no smaller than 10 points.
    • Double column format.
    • US letter-sized paper (8.5" x 11").
    • PDF format only.
    • No author names or affiliations in the paper or PDF file.
    • No embedded hyperlinks.
    • File size limit of less than 15 MB.
  • Templates: Use ACM provided templates (e.g., \documentclass[sigconf,10pt]{acmart} for Latex).

Submission Policies

  • Previous Publications: Submissions extending prior workshop papers are allowed but must acknowledge the prior work anonymously and explain the differences.
  • No Simultaneous Submissions: Papers must not be under review for any other conference or journal.
  • Double-blind Submissions: Strictly adhere to anonymity requirements. Avoid identifying yourself, your institution, or your prior work in a way that compromises anonymity.
  • Conflict of Interest (CoI): Authors must identify any CoIs with Program Committee members on the submission website.
