Overview
The 34th International Conference on Artificial Neural Networks (ICANN 2025) will be held in Kaunas, Lithuania, from September 9 to September 12, 2025. Organized in collaboration with the European Neural Network Society (ENNS), the conference is a premier event in artificial intelligence, neural networks, neuroscience, and brain-inspired computing. It is chaired by Yoshua Bengio and Viktor Jirsa and will publish proceedings in Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
Call for Papers
The 34th International Conference on Artificial Neural Networks (ICANN 2025) invites prospective authors to submit original and innovative papers covering a wide range of topics in artificial intelligence, neural networks, neuroscience, and brain-inspired computing.

Submission Types
Authors are invited to submit contributions for presentation in either oral or poster sessions.

Full Paper:
- Length: 6-12 pages (including references).
- Publication: To be published in Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series with individual DOI.
- Content: Original and innovative research.

Extended Abstract:
- Length: Maximum 2 pages.
- Publication: To be published in Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series, without individual indexing.
Submission Guidelines
- Language: Papers must be written in English.
- Format: Conformance to the format defined in the Author’s Kit is required. The kit is available on the conference webpage: https://e-nns.org/icann2025/submission
- Review Process: Papers will undergo rigorous peer review. The Program Committee will make the final decision on inclusion in the conference program. Assignment to oral or poster sessions does not reflect paper quality.
- Attendance: ICANN 2025 is an in-person conference. At least one co-author of each accepted paper must physically attend the conference in Kaunas to present the work.
