CAivDE - Computer Animation, Information Visualisation, and Digital Effects - Call for Papers

NOTE: This is a Hybrid in-person & Online Conference

The Computer Animation, Information Visualisation, and Digital Effects (CAivDE) symposium is designed to provide a forum for researchers, educators, and practitioners to share their opinions. The symposium aims to identify presentations on Key research issues, review the current state-of-the-art developments, and outline future directions.

This symposium seeks original paper projects that are either completed or still in the production stage.

Themes

Topics include, but are not limited to:

• Motion Synthesis and motion capture
• Physics-based animation
• Vision techniques in animation
• Modelling in animation
• Rendering and lighting techniques
• Animation of deformable materials and characters
• Modelling and animation of heads, faces, and hair
• Animation of natural phenomena
• Real-time simulation used for visualisation
• Simulations for virtual reality, training, and online education
• Forensic animation and its applications
• Animation for Scientific and medical visualisation

30 June 2025	Tutorial Registration Cancellation & Refund date (Last day to register for tutorial sessions – Registration after this is subject to availability.) Participants request for refunds must be received by this date in writing. Refunds are subject to a 90.00 GBP administration fee. Participants who fail to attend and do not notify the conference secretary prior to the refund date will be charged a full fee. Participant substitutions are allowed at any time with written notification.
20 July 2025	Registration closing dates Pre-Registration date Forms submitted to the conference office after this date cannot be processed in time for the conference. If your form is received after this date, you will be asked to repay the registration fee at the conference, and your original payment will be refunded. Registration Close
