Call for Papers - DS-RT 2025

Welcome to DS-RT 2025!

The 2025 29th International Symposium on Distributed Simulation and Real Time Applications (DS-RT 2025) is scheduled to be held in Prague, Czech Republic from September 17-19, 2025. This symposium offers a unique forum for academics, industry professionals, and researchers to showcase their latest findings in the fields of Distributed Simulation and Real-Time Applications.

DS-RT 2025 focuses on the increasingly intersecting domains of extensive distributed simulations and real-time applications, encompassing areas like the metaverse, collaborative virtual environments, as well as pervasive and ubiquitous application scenarios. Additionally, the symposium will delve into actuator systems and explore the integration of artificial intelligence techniques within both simulation and real-time applications.

This year's motto is: "Simulation-Powered Innovation: Driving the Future of Digital Ecosystems."

Submission Guidelines

Paper Submission and Publication

  • Papers must be unpublished and must not be submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • All papers will be reviewed by Technical Program Committee members and other experts to ensure high quality and relevance.
  • At least one author of accepted papers must attend the conference to present their contribution.
  • Papers should be written in English and should not exceed 10 pages, double column, IEEE style (including tables and figures). The regular paper size will be 8 pages, with the possibility to obtain up to 2 additional pages by paying a publication fee.
  • A template for IEEE Proceedings style (LaTeX2e and MS Word) can be found here.
  • Only Postscript and PDF formats are accepted.
  • Papers must be submitted electronically through the EDAS system.

  • The review process is single blind; author names can be inserted in the paper.
  • Authors should check if they already have a login on the EDAS system; otherwise, an account must be created.
  • Each submission must be accompanied by:
    • A paper title
    • A short abstract
    • A complete list of authors and their affiliations
    • A contact person for correspondence
    • A set of 1 up to 4 topics selected from the conference topics list.
    • Postal and e-mail addresses.

Publication

  • The proceedings will be published by IEEE-CS press.
  • A selection of the best papers will be invited to submit an extended version to a special issue in the Journal of Supercomputing (Springer).
