The Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Science Society (CogSci 2025) will be held from July 30 – Aug 2, 2025, at the Marriott Marquis, San Francisco. The conference will offer both In Person & Virtual participation options.

Submission Categories

There are three categories of main conference submissions:

  • Research papers (presented as talks or posters)
  • Contributed symposia
  • Member abstracts

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions must be no more than 6 pages, plus an unlimited number of pages for references and acknowledgments in the final version.
  • Authors will have the option of publishing just the abstract in the conference proceedings, rather than the full paper.
  • At least one author of each accepted paper must pre-register and attend the conference (either in-person or virtually for presentation) to have the submission appear in the program and conference proceedings.

Presenter Guidelines

  • Oral Presentation: Each standard oral presentation is allocated 25 minutes, including 5 minutes for questions.
  • The projectors support a 16:9 aspect ratio (widescreen format).
  • All speakers must bring their own laptops. HDMI, VGA, and Apple connectors will be available.
