Overview
POPL 2026: ACM-SIGACT Symposium on Principles of Programming Languages. The symposium seeks submissions that make principled, enduring contributions to the theory, design, understanding, implementation, or application of programming languages. Theoretical, practical, and experimental papers are welcome on topics ranging from formal frameworks to experience reports. Submissions will be evaluated by the program committee on the basis of their importance, novelty, and technical quality. POPL 2026 will take place in Rennes, France. Starting January 1, 2026, ACM will fully transition to the “author pays” Open Access model for 2026 ACM Conferences.
