ISMB/ECCB 2025: Call for Submissions

The 33rd annual International Conference on Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology (ISMB), in conjunction with the 24th Annual Conference of the European Conference on Computational Biology (ECCB), will be the year's most important computational biology event. This international meeting will be held in-person at the ACC Liverpool, UK, and virtually through ISCB's Nucleus platform.

About the Conference

ISMB/ECCB 2025 focuses on the development and application of advanced computational methods to address biological problems. It brings together researchers from computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology, molecular biology, mathematics, statistics, and related fields, providing a multidisciplinary platform for sharing the latest advancements and fostering new dialogues. The conference actively involves ISCB’s Communities of Special Interest (COSIs) in program development.

Submission Types

We invite submissions for the following formats:

• Abstracts: For talks and posters.

• Tech Track: Proposals for technological advancements and applications.
• Tutorials: Proposals for educational sessions.

Submission Guidelines

• Submissions are accepted for in-person and virtual participation.
• Only .pdf or .doc files will be accepted for paper submission.
• Final author manuscripts for proceedings are limited to 6 pages, with a maximum of 4 extra pages allowed at an additional cost.
• LaTeX templates are available (please refer to the conference website for details).
• All submission deadlines are strictly enforced, with no extensions granted.
• Submissions must be made through the respective sections on the conference website (e.g., Abstracts, Proceedings, Tech Track, Tutorials).

Presentation Options

• In-person participants: Will have access to training workshops, tutorials, the Student Council Symposium, over 500 scientific talks, exclusive networking events, and an on-demand repository of talks and poster presentations.
• Virtual participants: Will have livestream and on-demand access to sessions and tutorials, a live question and answer feature, live chat features within virtual session rooms, and access to the on-demand repository.
