ICIAP 2025: Call for Papers

The 23rd International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing (ICIAP 2025) is organized by CVPL, the Italian Member Society of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). The conference will take place in Rome, Italy, from September 15-19, 2025, at the Sapienza University of Rome.

The conference focuses on both traditional and emerging trends in computer vision, pattern recognition, and image processing, addressing both theoretical and practical aspects.

All submissions will be handled electronically via the conference’s CMT Website: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ICIAPconf2025

• The maximum number of pages is 12 including references.

Review Process

• Papers will be selected through a double-blind review process.
• Each submission will be managed by two Area Chairs and reviewed by at least three reviewers.
• Anonymization: Do not provide information that may identify the authors in the acknowledgments or any other part of the paper. Do not provide links to websites that identify the authors (e.g., GitHub repositories). Violation of these guidelines may lead to rejection without review.
• Dual Submissions: Submissions must not have been previously published or accepted for publication in substantially similar form. No publication substantially similar in content (20% or more overlap) should be submitted to another venue during the review period.

Publication

Accepted papers will be included in the ICIAP 2025 Conference Proceedings, which will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (LNCS).

First Round:

• Submission: 14 February 2025
• Notification to Authors: 31 March 2025

Second Round:

• Submission: 15 April 2025 (extended to 29 April 2025 AoE)
• Notification to Authors: 15 June 2025

Conference:

• Workshop and Tutorials: 15 - 16 September 2025
• Main Conference: 17 - 19 September 2025

Author Deadlines:

• Early Bird registration deadline: 30 June 2025
• Authors’ Registration deadline: 30 June 2025
• Camera Ready Submission: 10 July 2025
• Regular registration deadline: 4 September 2025

Registration Notes

• Authors of accepted papers must register before submitting the final camera-ready version and include the abstract code in the registration form.
• Each accepted paper must be covered by at least one full (regular or member) registration.
• Papers exceeding the first can be covered by the "additional paper" fee at 150.00€ each.
