JADT 2024: Call for Papers

The 17th International Conference on Statistical Analysis of Textual Data (JADT 2024) will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from June 25 to 27, 2024.

The conference is open to scholars and researchers working in textual data analysis, covering a wide range of topics.

The conference will take place exclusively face-to-face.

Languages

Submissions, communications, and presentations can be made in English, French, Italian, or Spanish.
All communications and presentations must contain an English abstract.
An author will not be allowed to present two different papers alone.

The themes of interest of the conference concern the application of statistical models and tools in the following domains:

• Exploratory Textual Data Analysis
• Corpus and Quantitative Linguistics
• Natural Language Processing
• Text Corpora Encoding
• Statistical Analysis of Unstructured and Structured Data
• Text Categorisation, Fuzzy Classification and Visualization
• Information Retrieval and Information Extraction
• Text Mining, Web Mining, Semantic Web
• Stylometry, Discourse analysis
• Software for Textual Data Analysis
• Machine Learning for Textual Data Analysis
• Multilingual and parallel corpora

Submission Guidelines

• Participants interested in presenting a paper for either an oral or poster presentation should submit a title and abstract in .pdf format (maximum 20 rows) by November 30, 2023.
• Authors should submit the full paper by February 11, 2024. The papers will be peer-reviewed. The full text of the communication should be a maximum of 10 pages, including references.
• Authors will be notified of the Scientific Committee's decisions on the acceptance of their proposal and on the presentation format (oral communication or poster) by March 13, 2024.
• The Authors are invited to submit the final accepted version of the paper (10 pages) of their contribution by April 1, 2024, using the same paper's submission procedure. The final paper will be subject to a final re-reading.
