SISY 2025: Call for Papers

Welcome to the IEEE 23rd International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY 2025), dedicated to the 65th birthday of Márta Takács.

This symposium aims to foster scientific relationships worldwide in the field of Intelligent Systems and Informatics.

Venue & Modality

The symposium will be held in Subotica, Serbia, from September 25-27, 2025.

The conference is organized in-person with onsite presentations only. At least one author of each accepted paper must show up and present the paper at the conference to ensure its inclusion in the proceedings.

Topics

The symposium invites papers addressing state-of-the-art research in all areas of Intelligent Systems and Informatics and their applications. Topics include, but are not limited to:

Submission of Papers

Authors are welcome to submit original and unpublished papers which are not currently under review by another conference or journal.

All paper submissions are processed through the conference website. Papers sent by e-mail are not acceptable.

Instructions for Authors

• The official language of the symposium is English.
• Authors should submit IEEE standard double-column paper with a minimum of 4 full pages and a maximum of 6 pages.
• The format of the final manuscript can be found on the conference web site of SISY 2025: https://conf.uni-obuda.hu/sisy2025.
• Plagiarism Policy: Papers will be checked by IEEE plagiarism detection software. IEEE takes plagiarism very seriously. If a paper is not original, not the authors' own work, or submitted to other conferences or journals, or a copy of another paper, it will be removed. It is not even allowed to copy from the author's own previously published paper. The paper may be checked against plagiarism at any time from submission until publication.

Publication

The conference appears on the IEEE Conference Search. Conference proceedings that meet IEEE quality review standards may be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

IEEE Policy: IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore), if the paper is not presented at the conference. 'Pay to publish' is not allowed by IEEE. So at least one author of a paper must show up and present the paper at the conference.

Selected papers may be published in a special issue of the journal Acta Polytechnica Hungarica.
