About DICTA

The International Conference on Digital Image Computing: Techniques and Applications (DICTA) is the premier conference organised in Australia on computer vision, image processing, pattern recognition, and related areas. DICTA was established in 1991 as a flagship conference of the Australian Pattern Recognition Society (APRS) and has been historically co-sponsored technically by IEEE and the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).

Conference Details

The 26th DICTA 2025 conference will be organised by The University of Adelaide (UoA) from Dec 3-5, 2025 at the Adelaide Convention Centre in the beautiful city of Adelaide, South Australia.

Publications

All regular papers (max 8 pages) accepted after double-blind peer review, registered and presented at the DICTA 2025 will be included in the IEEE Xplore database. Top-quality papers will be invited to extend and submit to special issues of the reputed journal Intelligence & Robotics.

Awards and Grants

There will be various awards (e.g., best ECR Award, best paper, best student paper, best poster, best paper in medical imaging, Women in STEM, best contribution to Science) and IEEE SPS travel grant.
