概要
Overview In recent years, the rise of Generative AI, including ChatGPT, has fundamentally shifted the landscape of machine learning and its applications. While the impact on Natural Language Processing (NLP) is undeniable, the ripple effect is now transforming fields dealing with complex data—most notably finance and economics. CIFEr 2026 is an international conference with a long-standing tradition of focusing on the application of information technology to financial and economic systems. Given the current technological shift, we are particularly interested in research involving: The application of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to financial sectors. The use of Alternative Data and the new technologies required to process it. Challenging research that combines Generative AI with established technologies, such as Multi-Agent Systems. Topics of Interest We welcome submissions in the following areas of Computational Intelligence (CI) and their applications: Computational Intelligence Areas & Models: Machine Learning & Deep Learning in Finance Large Language Models (LLMs) & Text Mining Big Data Finance and Economics Probabilistic Modeling & Inference Evolutionary Computation & Particle Swarm Optimisation Intelligent Trading Agents & Multi-agent Modelling Time Series Analysis & Non-linear Dynamics Application Areas (Finance, Economics, & Business): Asset Allocation & Portfolio Optimisation Algorithmic Trading & Trade Execution Systems Risk Management & Pricing of Structured Securities Behavioural & Evolutionary Finance Cryptocurrencies & Blockchain Economics Business Analytics & Recommender Systems Demand Forecasting & Supply Chain Management Paper Formatting and Submission Review Process: This conference uses a blind review process. Do not include author names or identifying information in the initial submission. Depending on the number of submissions, we may conduct a two-stage peer review process. Acceptance Categories: Submitted papers will be accepted as either Long Papers or Short Papers based on the outcome of the peer-review process. Dual Submissions and Prior Publication: Papers submitted to CIFEr 2026 must be original work. We strictly prohibit dual submissions; papers that are currently under review at other conferences, journals, or any other publication venues will be rejected. Furthermore, papers that have already been published or accepted for publication elsewhere are not eligible for submission and will be immediately rejected. However, making a paper available on non-peer-reviewed preprint servers, such as arXiv or SSRN, is not considered prior publication and is perfectly acceptable. Conflict of Interest (CoI): A COI occurs when a person's objective judgment is — or is perceived by a reasonable observer to be — compromised by an existing relationship, affiliation, or connection to a person whose work they must evaluate. Individuals in such relationships should not be involved in peer review of, or making editorial decisions about, materials provided by the related parties. Plagiarism and Originality (CrossCheck): All submitted papers will be screened for originality using CrossCheck. IEEE policy strictly prohibits plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Any paper found to have high similarity with previously published work—including the authors' own work—may be rejected without review. Template: Please use the IEEE style files (double-column). LaTeX and Word templates are available on the IEEE website. Format: Only PDF format will be accepted. Page Limit: Maximum of 8 pages including figures, tables, and references. Up to 2 extra pages (max 10 total) are allowed at a charge of JPY 16,000 per extra page. No Page Numbers: Please do not include page numbers; these will be inserted during the final production. Important Note: Violations of formatting or anonymity specifications may result in the immediate rejection of the paper.

Overview
In recent years, the rise of Generative AI, including ChatGPT, has fundamentally shifted the landscape of machine learning and its applications. While the impact on Natural Language Processing (NLP) is undeniable, the ripple effect is now transforming fields dealing with complex data—most notably finance and economics.
CIFEr 2026 is an international conference with a long-standing tradition of focusing on the application of information technology to financial and economic systems. Given the current technological shift, we are particularly interested in research involving:
The application of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to financial sectors.
The use of Alternative Data and the new technologies required to process it.
Challenging research that combines Generative AI with established technologies, such as Multi-Agent Systems.
Topics of Interest
We welcome submissions in the following areas of Computational Intelligence (CI) and their applications:
Computational Intelligence Areas & Models:
Machine Learning & Deep Learning in Finance
Large Language Models (LLMs) & Text Mining
Big Data Finance and Economics
Probabilistic Modeling & Inference
Evolutionary Computation & Particle Swarm Optimisation
Intelligent Trading Agents & Multi-agent Modelling
Time Series Analysis & Non-linear Dynamics
Application Areas (Finance, Economics, & Business):
Asset Allocation & Portfolio Optimisation
Algorithmic Trading & Trade Execution Systems
Risk Management & Pricing of Structured Securities
Behavioural & Evolutionary Finance
Cryptocurrencies & Blockchain Economics
Business Analytics & Recommender Systems
Demand Forecasting & Supply Chain Management
