FOIS 2025: Call for Papers

The 15th International Conference on Formal Ontology in Information Systems (FOIS 2025) will be held in Catania, Italy, from September 8-12, 2025. FOIS is the flagship conference of the International Association of Ontology and its Applications (IAOA), focusing on research in formal ontology in information systems.

• FOIS papers are published in the ACM Digital Library.
• Selected extended versions of papers will be invited for submission to IARIA Journals.
• JOWO papers are archived in the Open Access IARIA ThinkMind Digital Library and sent for indexing.

Contributions may include:

Submission Format

• Only .pdf or .doc files will be accepted for paper submission.
• The final author manuscripts should not exceed 6 pages, with a maximum of 4 extra pages allowed at additional cost. Information for paper formatting can be found on the conference website.
