Open Calls for Papers

The IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) policy generally requires papers to be presented at approved conferences to be eligible for review and possible publication in IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications or IEEE Industry Applications Magazine. An exception to this "Presentation First Policy" is for special issues of the Transactions on Industry Applications, where direct submissions are allowed as per the specific call for papers.

Authors also have the option to submit papers directly to the IEEE Open Journal of Industry Applications without the requirement of presenting preliminary results at a conference.
