CoopIS 2025: Call for Papers

The International Conference on Cooperative Information Systems (CoopIS) 2025 is the 31st edition of a conference series that began in 1993. CoopIS 2025 will be held in Marbella, Spain, from October 20-22, 2025.

The conference is held in conjunction with several other events: ICINCO 2025, WEBIST 2025, icSPORTS 2025, CHIRA 2025, IJCCI 2025, and IC3K 2025. Registration to CoopIS allows free access to these co-located conferences.

Scope

Cooperative Information Systems (CIS) facilitate cooperation between individuals, organizations, smart devices, and systems of systems, providing flexible, scalable, and intelligent services. The domain integrates research from distributed systems, coordination technologies, collaborative decision-making, enterprise architecture, business process management, and conceptual modeling. Innovative technologies like Cloud Computing, IoT, Linked Open Data, Blockchain, and Processes as a Service enable the next generation of CIS.

The guiding theme of CoopIS 2025 is "Trustworthy Information Systems".

Paper Submission

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that are not under review elsewhere.

We encourage:

• Contributions introducing and evaluating technological innovations.
• Empirical studies.
• Systematic surveys.
• Case studies of the trustworthiness of information systems.

Submissions for full papers must not exceed 18 pages (including references). Short papers (up to 11 pages) may also be accepted.

Submitted papers must be in English, formatted according to the camera-ready style, and submitted in PDF format.

At least one author of each accepted paper must be registered before the camera-ready deadline.

Publications

All accepted complete papers will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.

Selected papers will be invited for a post-conference special issue of the International Journal of Cooperative Information Systems.

Proceedings will be submitted for evaluation for indexing by Web of Science/Conference Proceedings Citation Index, DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, INSPEC, and others.
