2025 IEEE World Congress on SERVICES (SERVICES 2025): Call for Papers

The 2025 IEEE World Congress on SERVICES (SERVICES 2025) is sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society and will take place in Helsinki, Finland, from July 7-12, 2025. The congress is held in a hybrid mode, with in-person participation and Zoom support for remote presentations.

SERVICES 2025 is the premier professional event for the services computing field offered by IEEE, covering six co-located theme conferences:

• IEEE CLOUD 2025
• IEEE EDGE 2025
• IEEE ICDH 2025
• IEEE ICWS 2025
• IEEE QSW 2025
• IEEE SSE 2025

In addition to these, the congress will feature symposia and workshops focusing on emerging topics.

Submission Information

Authors are invited to submit original papers to any of the main conferences or affiliated symposia and workshops via EasyChair at https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=2025ieeeservices.

All submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers.

Important Dates

Full Conference – Paper Submission Deadline:

• Extended and Firm: March 10, 2025 (11pm AoE)

Acceptance Notifications:

• Extended: May 12, 2025

Camera-ready and registration (for all papers):

• Extended: June 6, 2025

Symposia and Workshops Important Dates:

• Symposia and Workshop Paper submission deadlines: Please refer to the specific symposium or workshop CFP.
• Acceptance notifications: May 16, 2025
• Camera-ready and registration (for all papers): May 30, 2025

Paper Formatting

• Language: English
• Paper size and format: US Letter; Two-column format in the IEEE style.
• Templates: Download paper templates in WORD, LaTeX, or Overleaf.
• Page limits:
  • Regular Paper: 7 to 10 pages for main content, plus additional pages for references.
  • Short Paper: 4 to 6 pages for main content, plus additional pages for references. Must present factual nontrivial research results.
  • Work-in-Progress (WIP): Up to 3 pages (including main content and references). Must present innovative ideas with promising impact.
• Keywords: Five to eight keywords for each paper.
• File format: One single PDF file.

Authorship and Anonymity

• The list of authors cannot be changed after the submission deadline.
• Double-blind reviewing process: Author names and affiliations should not appear in the paper. Refer to prior work in the third person or blind references.
• AI Generated Content: Disclosure of AI-generated content is required in the acknowledgments section.
• Submissions to non-profit preprint servers (e.g., ArXiv) are allowed after necessary changes for authorship and anonymization.
• Manuscripts violating these rules may be desk rejected.

Presentation Policy

• Registration: All papers must be registered separately. Papers without registration will be removed from the proceedings.
• Presentation Requirement: Authors are required to present their papers. In-person presentations are preferred. Remote presentations with recorded videos as backup are allowed under specific conditions.
• Remote Presenters: Must upload a pre-recorded video of their presentation.
• Presentation Time:
  • Regular papers: 20 minutes (including Q&A)
  • Short papers: 15 minutes (including Q&A)
  • WIP papers: 10 minutes (including Q&A)

Paper Designators

Authors must use a correct paper designator for registration and camera-ready submissions. The format is ConfSymAcronym_PaperType_PaperNumber.

• ConfSymAcronym: CLD, CDH, CWS, EDG, QSW, SSE
• PaperType: REG, SHT, WIP, SYM, WKP
