Call for Papers: IEEE International Conference on Cybernetics and Intelligent Systems (CIS) 2025

The 2025 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) is the flagship conference of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. It provides an international forum for researchers, educators, and practitioners to learn, share knowledge, report most recent innovations and developments, and exchange ideas and advances in all aspects of systems science and engineering, human-machine systems, and cybernetics. The theme of the IEEE SMC 2025 conference is “Navigating Frontiers: Smart Systems for a Dynamic World”.

Submission Guidelines

  • Authors must adhere to the IEEE conference written paper format (including paper title, authors and affiliations, figures, and references).
  • Submit the draft version of the paper for review before the due submission deadlines through the PaperCept submission system.
  • Use the provided IEEE templates in MS Word and LaTeX format. Letter page size should be used. Do not modify the style or format.
  • Submit only original work, not previously published or copyrighted (including not submitted elsewhere).
  • The conference utilizes a single-blind review process.
  • Accepted papers must be presented at the conference, either by the authors themselves or via proxy. Unpresented papers will be removed from post-conference distribution and the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.
  • Accepted and presented papers will be copyrighted to IEEE and published in conference proceedings, eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library after meeting IEEE quality review.

Submission Templates

Paper Types

  • Regular Papers: Full-length papers (up to 6 pages) with a maximum of 2 overlength pages (additional fee applies). Concise but containing sufficient details and references for critical review.
  • Special Sessions Papers: Focused discussions on new and innovative topics. Organizers should collect at least six papers. All papers undergo the same review process as regular papers.
  • Work-in-Progress and Industrial Papers: Intended to showcase work-in-progress and promote contributions from industries. Limited to four (4) pages (total length including references).
  • Workshop Papers: Contributions from applied research and applications, including work in progress.
