EATIS 2024: Call for Papers

The 12th Euro American Conference on Telematics and Information Systems (EATIS 2024) invites submissions of high-quality full papers reporting original and novel research results. The conference will be held in Cabo Verde from July 3rd to 5th, 2024, at the University of Cabo Verde.

EATIS is focused on the communities, contents, and technologies belonging to smart cities. It encourages the use of Information Systems (IS), Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and Telematics Systems to facilitate citizen access to government and public services.

Topics of Interest

Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

1. Big Data (Data Science and Analysis, Machine Learning and Open Data)
2. Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems
3. Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)
4. E-applications and case uses
5. Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
6. Internet of Things (IoT): Middleware, Applications
7. Education Methodologies based on ICT
8. Mobile Computing and Applications
9. Performance Analysis of Computational Systems
10. Web Architecture and Web Technologies and Society
11. Web Systems and Web Semantic

It is highly recommended to include any of the 11 areas of interest as a Keyword (bold letters) to ease the reviewing process.

Paper Submission

• All submitted papers will be blinded and peer-reviewed.
• Papers must be initially submitted in pdf (without author names).
• Papers must be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Papers written in Spanish or Portuguese must have an abstract, title, and keywords in English.
• Papers must be unpublished and not submitted elsewhere.
• Critical parameters for evaluation will include originality, significance, relevance, technical soundness, and language clarity.

Types of Submissions:

• Short papers: maximum 4 pages, presented in the Panel/Poster Sessions (English only).
• Full papers: maximum 8 pages, presented in Oral Sessions (English only).

Deadlines

• Submission of short and full papers: 27th January 2024
• Notification of acceptance: 15th March 2024
• Camera Ready & Author Registration: 5th April 2024
• Conference days: 3rd - 5th July 2024
