The 40th ACM/SIGAPP Symposium On Applied Computing (SAC 2025) will be held from March 31 to April 4, 2025, in Catania, Sicily, Italy. The symposium is sponsored by ACM Special Interest Group on Applied Computing (SIGAPP) and hosted by the University of Catania.
SAC 2025: Call for Papers
The 40th ACM/SIGAPP Symposium On Applied Computing (SAC 2025) will be held from March 31 - April 4, 2025, in Catania, Sicily, Italy.
Submission Types:
- Regular Paper: Submit your full research papers through the Easychair system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=sac-2025.
- SRC Submission: For Student Research Abstracts, please use the dedicated submission link.
- Author Kit: Available for download, providing templates and guidelines for papers, posters, and SRCs: PDF.
- Tutorial Proposals & Hosting Proposals: Information and submission details are available.
Submission Guidelines:
- Double-Blind Review: Each paper will be double-blindly reviewed by at least three reviewers. Ensure your submission adheres to this requirement by anonymizing author and affiliation details.
- Paper Length: Full papers are limited to 8 pages with the option for up to 2 additional pages.
- Posters: Limited to 2 pages with the option for up to 1 additional page.
- SRC Abstracts: Limited to 3 pages in ACM format using the posted template, no additional pages.

Policies & Copyright
- ACM Policies: Authors acknowledge ACM's Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, and Policy Against Harassment at ACM Activities.
- SAC No-Show Policy: Paper registration is mandatory for inclusion in proceedings. At least one author or proxy must present the paper (physical or online presentation allowed).
- Copyright: Authors will receive an email from ACM to complete and submit the copyright form.
