Aperçu
The Symposium on Geometry Processing (SGP) 2025, the premier international venue for research in geometry processing, will be held at the Bizkaia Aretoa in Bilbao, Spain. The Graduate School will take place from June 30 to July 1, 2025, followed by the main conference from July 2 to July 4, 2025. SGP covers mathematics, computer science, and engineering applications for 3D models, acquisition, analysis, manipulation, and simulation, and offers a Graduate School taught by leading experts.
Symposium on Geometry Processing (SGP) 2025: Call for Papers
SGP is the premier venue for disseminating new research ideas and cutting-edge results in geometry processing. This research area applies concepts from mathematics, computer science, and engineering to offer new insights and design efficient algorithms for acquisition, modeling, analysis, manipulation, simulation, and other types of processing of 3D models and shape collections.

Submission Types
- Technical Papers: Papers should be up to 10 pages (including all images, but excluding references), though length should be justified by content. Supplementary documents are encouraged. Submitted in PDF format.
- Poster Presentations: 1-page abstract summarizing the poster content. Posters are presented at the conference but not published otherwise.
- Dataset Papers: Encouraged for submission to the technical papers program, focusing on datasets with larger or more challenging examples.
Typesetting and Formatting
- Please format your article using the template for SGP available on the SRMv2 website: https://srmv2.eg.org.
- Papers should be submitted in electronic PDF format.
Anonymization
- SGP uses a dual-anonymous reviewing process.
- All submitted papers must be anonymized. Remove all personal data (such as authors, affiliations, etc.).
- References to your own work should be made in the third person.
Abstract Submission
- While not mandatory, submitting an abstract by the deadline is strongly encouraged to help assign relevant reviewers.
Reviewing Process
- Submitted papers undergo a two-stage review process involving dual-anonymous assessment.
- Articles are conditionally accepted after the first round, with final acceptance based on the revised version.
Preprints and Anonymity Policy
SGP follows a policy similar to SIGGRAPH regarding preprints:
- Authors must not discuss the research with the media.
- Authors may archive submissions (e.g., on arXiv) without mentioning SGP.
- No social media posts should link specific submissions to SGP.
- Authors may present their work for job/funding applications without mentioning SGP.
Proceedings
The SGP proceedings will appear as a regular electronic issue of the Computer Graphics Forum.
Awards and Recognitions
- Best Paper Awards
- Software Award
- Data Set Award
- Reproducibility Stamp
