  • B. Experiments (main contributions are experimental)
  • C. Theory and Experiments (main contributions are a mix of theory and experiments)

Review Process

Double-Blind Policy

SPAA 2025 employs a lightweight double-blind review process.

  • Submissions must omit authors’ names, affiliations, and contact information.
  • References to prior work by the authors should be made in the third person.
  • Any supplemental materials must also be anonymized.
  • Authors are free to disseminate their ideas or draft versions of the paper (e.g., via arXiv or talks).
  • Reviewers are asked to refrain from actively looking for author identities.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Authors must register their conflicts with PC members at the submission site. Conflicts include:

  • Academic advisor or advisee (no time limit)
  • Postdoctoral mentor or mentee (no time limit)
  • Collaborators within the past three years (joint research, development, paper, or funding relationship)
  • Members of the same institution within the past 3 years
  • Family members or close friends
  • Someone involved in an alleged incident of harassment
  • Anyone whose relationship would prevent objectivity

Falsely declared conflicts risk rejection. Contact the program chair for clarification on any uncertainties.
