ENTER26 eTourism Conference: Call for Contributions

Theme: Advancing Tourism Technology for a Better Future

Location: Breda, The Netherlands

The International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) invites academics, industry professionals, destinations, tech companies, and NGOs to join the ENTER26 eTourism conference to share research and the latest case studies on emergent and innovative concepts, applications, and business models of tourism technology.

Conference Theme

How can we harness technological innovation to create a future of tourism that is not only smarter but more inclusive, ethical, and sustainable? ENTER26 aims to foster resilient tourism systems that serve businesses, communities, and the planet.

Submission Guidelines

Full Papers

• Maximum length: 12 pages (inclusive of references; 4,000-5,000 words).
• Use the Springer template (Word template, LaTeX template).
• Clearly state background, introduction, purpose, theory, methodology, results, and conclusions.
• Emphasize future research directions.

Working Papers

• Maximum length: 6 pages (inclusive of references; 2,000-2,500 words).
• Use the Springer template (Word template, LaTeX template).
• Clearly and briefly state background, introduction, purpose, theory, methodology, (optionally) preliminary results, and conclusions.
• Emphasize future research directions.

• Format: Extended abstract of 2 pages (inclusive of key references).

• Include problem background, purpose, method, and significance.

• Justify the topic's interest to ENTER participants.

Ph.D. Workshop Proposals

• Maximum length: 3 pages (A4, including references).
• Sections: Problem statement/literature gap/research question, conceptual framework (if applicable), proposed methodology, expected results/statement of contribution, references.

• Each paper should be represented by at least one registered presenter.
• If at least one author has not completed their registration by 30 December 2025, the paper will be removed from the program and the proceedings.
• The conference proceedings will be published by Springer.
• Please note that authors have the opportunity to join IFITT which gives them a substantial discount on conference registration fees and access to the global eTourism community.
