Resumen General
ACM SIGCOMM 2025, the 39th edition of the ACM Special Interest Group on Data Communication conference, will be held in Coimbra, Portugal, from September 8 to 11, 2025. Hosted by the University of Coimbra, the conference will take place at the São Francisco Convent.
Call for Papers - SIGCOMM 2025
The ACM SIGCOMM 2025 conference invites submissions detailing significant research contributions or deployment experiences in communication networks and networked systems. The conference embraces a broad view of networking, encompassing various network types, technologies, aspects, life cycles, and approaches.
Submission Tracks
SIGCOMM 2025 accepts submissions in two tracks:
- Research Track: Focuses on significant advancements in networking through novel ideas or rigorous evaluations.
- Experience Track: Presents key insights from networking technique deployments, particularly at scale.
Survey and tutorial papers are out of scope.
Submission Guidelines
- Anonymity: All submissions must be anonymous, without author names. Experience submissions may reveal the deploying organization or system name. Authors must be listed in HotCRP before the submission deadline to manage reviewer conflicts.
- Track Selection: Authors must explicitly choose the research or experience track during submission. Submissions will only be considered for the selected track.
- Format: Submissions should be in two-column, 10-point format.
- Length: Up to 12 pages for the main content, with additional pages allowed for references and optional appendices. Reviewers are not required to read appendices.
- Shepherding: Accepted papers may be shepherded by a program committee member.
- Presentation: An in-person attendee is expected to present each accepted paper.
- Publication Date: The official publication date is the earlier of the conference start date or when proceedings are made available in the ACM Digital Library.
- Submission Site: https://sigcomm25.hotcrp.com
- Detailed Instructions: https://conferences.sigcomm.org/sigcomm/2025/submission/
New This Year
- SIGCOMM Shorts: A select number of submissions will be invited for a "lightning" talk and a shorter version (up to two pages excluding references and appendices) for the proceedings. Authors can indicate suitability for this category at submission.
- One-shot Revision: A limited number of submissions may be invited for a single revision cycle, addressing specific feedback for potential acceptance.
Ethics and Policy
- All papers must include a statement about ethical issues raised by the work. Sensitive data or human subjects require clear discussion.
- Adherence to ethical research practices, norms around privacy, data security, informed consent, beneficence, and risk mitigation is mandatory.
- Authors should consult the Menlo Report and ACM ethics policy.
- Authors must comply with ACM Publications Policies and obtain an ORCID ID.
- Ethical soundness will be evaluated independently by the Program Committee, though IRB approval is an important factor.
Artifact Evaluation
Authors of accepted papers are invited to submit supporting materials for the voluntary Artifact Evaluation process, which assesses how well artifacts support the paper's claims. Successful submissions receive badges.
