Resumen General
The 18th International Work-Conference on Artificial Neural Networks (IWANN 2025) will be held in A Coruña, Spain, from June 16-18, 2025. This biennial meeting aims to provide a forum for scientists, engineers, educators, and students to discuss discoveries and realizations in artificial neural networks and computational intelligence methodologies.
IWANN 2025: Call for Papers
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the International Work-Conference on Artificial Neural Networks (IWANN 2025), we are pleased to invite you to participate in this event that will be held in June 2025 in A Coruña, Spain. This will be the 18th edition of IWANN.
This biennial meeting seeks to provide a discussion forum for scientists, engineers, educators and students about the latest discoveries and realizations in the foundations, theory, models and applications of systems inspired by nature, as well as in emerging areas related to the above items, using computational intelligence methodologies.
Submission Types
- Full Papers: Maximum 12 pages in Springer LNCS format. Must contain original work, not published or submitted elsewhere. Accepted papers will be published as Springer LNCS proceedings.
- Extended Abstracts: 2 pages in Springer LNCS format. Must contain original work, not published or submitted elsewhere. Accepted abstracts will be published in a Book of Abstracts.
- Published Paper Showcase: Presentation of a previously published journal paper by the same author(s), published in a prestigious journal (JCR indexed or similar). Submitted showcase proposals will be reviewed for topical relevance and, if accepted, will be referenced in the Book of Abstracts.
Regardless the type of submission, at least one of the authors will register, pay the registration fee, and attend the Conference.

Submission Guidelines
- Submissions should be made via EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iwann2025
- All papers must be in Springer LNCS format.
- Papers must contain original work, not published, distributed or submitted to another journal or conference.

Awards
Best Poster / Best Presentation Early Career Researcher Awards sponsored by PeerJ. Recipients must be an early career researcher (PhD student or up to 4 years postdoc), author a full paper, attend the Conference, and present the poster or talk. Winners will be invited to submit a paper to any of PeerJ journals, with waived Article Processing Charges (worth $1,995 each prize) if accepted.
Tutorial
A tutorial on "AI and Digital Twins in Healthcare" will be delivered by Julià Camps and can be attended by all IWANN 2025 participants with no additional registration fee.
Publication
The proceedings will be published with Springer-Verlag as Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Extended versions of selected papers will be published in special issues of several prestigious journals.
