Paper Submission

ADBIS 2025 invites original papers (not submitted elsewhere in parallel). Accepted full papers will be published in a Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) volume, and accepted short papers are published in Springer's Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.

  • FULL papers: Regular research papers or experimental re-evaluation papers (16 LNCS style pages, including references).
  • SHORT papers: Early findings/work-in-progress reports or Vision papers (up to 10 LNCS style pages, including references).

Papers should be submitted in PDF format using the CMT online submission system at: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ADBIS2025.

ADBIS uses single-blind reviewing, so authors should list their names and affiliations.

Consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates (LaTeX or Word) for paper preparation. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs.

Shepherding

Borderline papers may go through a shepherding phase. Authors will be given a list of issues/improvements and 3 weeks to address them. The PC chairs will decide whether the revised paper is acceptable.

  • Notification of shepherding status: June 12, 2025
  • Authors submit revised, camera-ready version: June 24, 2025
  • Notification of acceptance for shepherded papers: July 1, 2025
  • Camera-ready documents and copyright: July 15, 2025

Awards

Springer will sponsor the ADBIS 2025 Best Paper Award, Best PhD Symposium Paper Award, Best Demonstration, and Best Short Paper.

Special Issue

The best papers will be invited to submit an extended and revised version to a special issue in the Information Systems journal of Elsevier (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/information-systems).

Inclusion and Diversity

Authors are strongly encouraged to be inclusive in writing and presentation. Please visit the subsection "D&I materials" at https://dbdni.github.io/ for details.

Use of Generative AI

Authors should explicitly disclose the use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in their manuscripts (excluding just editing the author’s text) in a statement at the end of the manuscript before the References section. Undeclared use of LLMs will result in desk rejection.

Program Chairs
