ICITA 2025: Call for Papers

The 19th International Conference on Information Technology and Applications (ICITA 2025) will be held in Oslo, Norway from October 14 - 16, 2025. This conference is a recognized major event in Information Technology, continuing its tradition of high quality and facilitating cross-disciplinary and social gatherings.

Types of Submissions

• Full Papers: Finished or consolidated R&D work, assigned a 10-page limit. These will be included in the conference proceedings.
• Short Papers: Ongoing works with relevant preliminary results, open to discussion, assigned a 10-page limit. These will be included in the conference proceedings.
• Poster Papers: Not published in the Conference Proceedings, only presented and discussed. Authors must print a poster in A1 vertical format. Presentations have a 7-minute limit per poster.
• Company Papers: Not published in the Conference Proceedings, only presented and discussed.

Submission Guidelines

• Submitted papers must comply with the format of Lecture Notes in Network Systems Series. Authors are requested to follow the Instructions for Authors on the Springer Website.
• Papers must be written in English.
• Submissions must not have been published before, nor be under review for any other conference or publication.
• Anonymization: Versions for evaluation must not include author names, affiliations, or bibliographic references leading to the authors’ identification. This information should only be included in the camera-ready version.
• All files (submission, camera-ready) need to be compressed (e.g., a ZIP file) and uploaded at the conference management system.
• A filled 'Consent to Publish' form must accompany the camera-ready files.

Review Process

All papers will be subjected to a "double-blind review" by at least three members of the Program Committee.

Publication and Indexing

• Full papers accepted and registered will be published in Proceedings by Springer, in Lecture Notes in Network System series. They will be submitted for indexation by ISI, SCOPUS, and Google Scholar, among others, and will be available in the SpringerLink Digital Library.
• Poster and company papers will not be published, only presented at the conference.
• To ensure publication, at least one author must be fully registered by September 5, 2025, and the paper must comply with the suggested layout and page-limit. All recommended changes must be addressed before submitting the camera-ready version.
