ICSEA 2025: Call for Papers

The Twentieth International Conference on Software Engineering Advances (ICSEA 2025) will be held from September 28, 2025 to October 02, 2025 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Onsite and Online Options

To accommodate various situations, the conference offers the option for either physical presence or virtual participation (pdf slides or pre-recorded videos).

Scope

ICSEA 2025 continues a series of events covering a broad spectrum of software-related topics, from fundamentals on designing, implementing, testing, validating, and maintaining various kinds of software. The conference covers classical and advanced methodologies, open source, agile software, software deployment, software economics, and education. It also addresses advanced practical aspects such as run-time vulnerability checking, rejuvenation processes, updates, and online software updates.

The conference solicits both academic, research, and industrial contributions, including technical papers, position papers, survey papers, short papers on work in progress, and panel proposals. Industrial presentations are also welcome.

Publication

Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions to one of the IARIA Journals.

Submission Format

• Only .pdf or .doc files will be accepted for paper submission.
• Final author manuscripts will be 8.5" x 11", not exceeding 6 pages; max 4 extra pages allowed at additional cost.

LaTeX Template:

• A community-provided LaTeX template is available: the CTAN package iaria (with full IARIA formatting rules, including IARIA citation style). There is also iaria-lite (compatible with any TeX stack). A minimal working example as an Overleaf template is also available. Please adhere to the additional editorial rules .
• Slides-based contributions can use the corporate/university format and style.
