About SACMAT

Access control has long been one of the most widely adopted and foundational security technologies. However, the landscape of computing has dramatically changed, demanding new trust models, management strategies, enforcement techniques, and supporting mechanisms for distributed, networked computing environments. SACMAT invites researchers to explore and propose innovative, efficient, and effective security mechanisms.

Paper Submission

Submissions must be in PDF format using ACM’s double-column "sigconf" template (see https://www.acm.org/publications/authors/submissions).

  • Main Research Track: No more than 10 pages long, excluding up to 2 pages of bibliography and well-marked appendices.

Special Tracks:

  • BlueSky (up to 8 pages): Visionary ideas, long-term challenges, and research opportunities.
  • Dataset/Tool (up to 5 pages): Novel curated or synthetic datasets, or design and implementation of novel tools.
  • Systematization of Knowledge (up to 12 pages): Evaluation, systematization, and contextualization of existing knowledge.
  • Work in Progress (up to 5 pages): Early-stage research problems and results.

*Submissions to special tracks must include a subtitle [TrackName Paper] (e.g., \subtitle{[BlueSky Paper]} in LaTeX).

  • Bibliography and appendices are limited to 2 pages for BlueSky and Systematization of Knowledge papers, and 1 page for others.
  • All submissions must be anonymous; exclude author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or obvious self-citations.
  • Submissions must contain a significant original contribution and not overlap substantially with concurrently submitted papers.
  • At least one author from each accepted paper must register with a full registration and present it in person (remote presentations are possible only in exceptional cases).
