CAADRIA 2025: Call for Papers - Architectural Informatics

The Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA) presents CAADRIA 2025, themed "Architectural Informatics", from March 22-29, 2025 in Tokyo.

Conference Theme

CAADRIA 2025 invites contributions that reexamine the fundamental existence of architecture in the age of information technology, viewing architecture and cities as information systems. The conference encourages original, high-quality papers presenting current computer-aided architectural design research across various approaches.

Submission Process & Guidelines

• Submission Portal: Access OpenConf at https://caadria.org/openconf25/openconf.php
• Review Process: A two-stage reviewing process, based on an initial abstract review and a later double-blind peer review of full-length manuscripts.
• Paper Template: Adherence to the template is mandatory for publication. Download the template here.
• Submission Format: Papers must be uploaded as a single zip folder containing both the revised Word document and the PDF file.
• First Author Requirement: Each paper must have a unique first author.
• Presentation Requirement: CAADRIA 2025 is an in-person-only event. For each accepted paper, at least one author is required to register and present on-site.
• Registration: Conference registration is open. Early-bird participants can enjoy reduced rates until January 27, 2025.

Additional Participation Opportunities

• Project Exhibition (Posters): Submit a poster to showcase your work. Submission deadline: January 15, 2025.
• Postgraduate Student Consortium (PGSC): Master’s and PhD students can apply to present their research and receive feedback. Submission deadline: January 15, 2025.
• Young CAADRIA Award (YCA): Open to all registered students (undergraduate and postgraduate) with an accepted paper. Awardees receive a waiver for their conference registration fee.
• Workshops: Applications are open until January 20, 2025. Seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
