SAC 2025: Call for Papers

The 40th ACM/SIGAPP Symposium On Applied Computing (SAC 2025) will be held from March 31 - April 4, 2025, in Catania, Sicily, Italy.

Submission Types:

• Regular Paper: Submit your full research papers through the Easychair system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=sac-2025.
• SRC Submission: For Student Research Abstracts, please use the dedicated submission link.
• Author Kit: Available for download, providing templates and guidelines for papers, posters, and SRCs: PDF.
• Tutorial Proposals & Hosting Proposals: Information and submission details are available.

Submission Guidelines:

• Double-Blind Review: Each paper will be double-blindly reviewed by at least three reviewers. Ensure your submission adheres to this requirement by anonymizing author and affiliation details.
• Paper Length: Full papers are limited to 8 pages with the option for up to 2 additional pages.
• Posters: Limited to 2 pages with the option for up to 1 additional page.
• SRC Abstracts: Limited to 3 pages in ACM format using the posted template, no additional pages.

• Submission of regular papers and SRC research abstracts: October 13, 2024 (EST) (No Further Delay)
• Submission of Tutorial Proposals: October 11, 2024
• Notification of Tutorials Acceptance: November 1, 2024
• Notification of paper acceptance/rejection: November 22, 2024 (Tentative)
• Notification of SRC acceptance/rejection: November 22, 2024 (Tentative)
• Camera-ready copies of accepted papers/SRC: December 20, 2024
• Author registration due date: December 27, 2024

Policies & Copyright

• ACM Policies: Authors acknowledge ACM's Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, and Policy Against Harassment at ACM Activities.
• SAC No-Show Policy: Paper registration is mandatory for inclusion in proceedings. At least one author or proxy must present the paper (physical or online presentation allowed).
• Copyright: Authors will receive an email from ACM to complete and submit the copyright form.
